Prof. Chun, Yelin Park, and Jiyun Jung attended the KIAEBS Autumn Conference 2026.

Jiyun Jung gave an oral presentation titled “Overall Heat Flux-Based Thermal Comfort Evaluation of Proximity HVAC during Vehicle Heat-up” and received the Best Paper Presentation Award for her oral presentation.

The paper titled “Thermal-Personality-Based Personalized Environmental Control Systems: Development and Performance Evaluation,” co-authored by Prof. Chun and Yelin Park with Prof. Bae(Jeonbuk National University), an alumna of the lab, was presented at the conference.

Jiyun Jung presented “Evaluating the Applicability of the Nilsson Band in Vehicles Equipped with Proximity HVAC.” 

Hyunji Lee presented “An Analysis on Behavioral Factors of Residential Cooling Energy Consumption in Korean Households.” 

Dr. Jiyoung Kwak presented “An Operational Detection Method for Thermal Discomfort During Sleep.”

Yerin Park presented a poster titled “Thermal Comfort and Acceptability of Personal Comfort System Cooling Strategies Reflecting Individual Thermal Personality.”

Korea-Japan Joint Seminar 2025

The Korea-Japan Joint Seminar 2025 was held at Hanyang University, bringing together researchers from Yokohama National University, Hanyang University, and Yonsei University. 

Researchers from Korea and Japan shared their research, exchanged ideas, and learned from one another through academic and cultural exchange.
